Many of you have expressed that you tried to make a comment, but it wouldn't let you or you don't have a GMAIL account to login. I opened this up to the public and anyone can make comments.

This is what you do.
At the bottom of the blog post for whichever day. Click on Comments.
Type in what you want to comment.

Then under "Comment as:" there's a drop-down arrow. Click here and it gives you a list of what to use.

If you have a Google or Gmail account you can use that. If you don't and you want to put your name in, select Name/URL.
You type in your name, you don't have to put anything in the URL field and click Continue. Your name appears in the "Comment as:" field.
You then click on Publish. It will give you a Preview and you click the box to say that you are not a Robot.
Once you click that you are not a Robot another little window appears asking you to do something. Making sure that you are still not a Robot!
Once completed, you will get a checked box. See below.

Back safe & sound

We made it back to SF and my dear friend Marvilyn, picked us up from the airport. Thank you so much! Weird to leave at 7:45pm on Sat. and arrive back home at 11:45am on Saturday.
Such a long day! I did get some sleep on the plane as I popped 2 Benadryl and had a glass of wine. Knocked me out!

Bad thing is that I got sick a bit after we got home. I was feeling a bit nauseous after the morning breakfast on the plane. Of course wait till the last day to get sick.

All and all best trip ever! Now I have to go through my 1300 pictures! Wish me luck!

Signing off until next trip...

Last day!

Packed up and checked out of our room. Had breakfast at Bespoke Cafe.

Mom had a walnut cinnamon scone with berry jam & butter.

Then found the post office to send a couple items back to Charlie & Dina back in Methven. Cheaper & faster now than if we were to wait till we got home.

There was a market in QT so we walked around a bit.

The sun of course was out today, the day we leave.
Right near this duck I found a penny. Dad left us a penny in NZ. Although it's 10 ¢
Mom said heaven is heaven no matter where you are! Thanks Dad!

While walking around we passed a sweet shop, this was on the front door.
Good Segway, eh?

Now we made it to the airport, dropped off the car. We did check an extra bag- it was only $1.
Now we are waiting to board our first flight from QT to Auckland. Then we'll be in Auckland for a bit. Have some dinner and then board the next flight to SFO around 7:45pm. It's going to be a long day/night. We're going back in the past and are scheduled to arrive around 11:45am Sat 4/2.
That time has already happened today.

Finally got a pic of the flight.

Got some good ones out the plane too. QT

Into Auckland

Alright. Now we're at Auckland airport. Waiting to get some grub. Still have about 2 hours to go.

Shotover Jet Boats

Woke up to a light rain, but that didn't stop us from going on a jet boat ride down the Shotover River.
$135 for a breathtaking ride through narrow canyons & exhilarating full 360° spins. Boats go every 15 minutes.

We got a dvd of our trip and pictures too.
They took our picture before we got all wet from the spray of the water.

Here's one of me after, mom wouldn't take one as her hair was soaked.

We then came back to our room, changed clothes & drove to Arrowtown. It's about 22 km from QT.

It was raining, but we walked around and had a late breakfast at a place called Chop Shop.

2 Flat Whites coming up!

Very cute town. I actually liked it better than QT. Very quaint with its downtown filled with cute shops.

Lots of trees. It's an old gold mining town.

Pictures don't do justice but the trees are changing color.

Cool Church

Nice day even with the rain.
Now back at the room. We have to finish up our wine we've bought before we head out tomorrow.

Can't believe it's the end of our holiday. We have one place left to stop and that's Bespoke Kitchen in QT. It received Best Cafe of the year for all of NZ. We're going to go there tmrw for breakfast.

QT - Skyline

Made it to QT and found the gondola at the edge of town. $32 for the gondola ride.

Not too far up.
Getting higher!

There are stairs if you want to walk.

Here's some great views!

Got the selfie stick out. It's a bit scary, if you were to drop your phone. It would be gone forever!

Beautiful!

Lots of activities for tourists! Gondolas, luge rides, boating, bungee jumping, biking, paragliding, skydiving. The list goes on and on.

Having a drink at Skyline bar & just ordered some grub.

Can't beat the view!
