Gear

Counting down to almost a week before we head out. Before we go, I'm testing out some gear to take on our trip.

I'm testing out a new backpack I got from Amazon. It's a LowePro Fastpack BP 250 AW II
It will hold my camera along with cables, extra batteries, extra lens, etc. It will also hold my laptop/Chromebook & a kindle tablet.

Along with all the electronics, I'll have room for the necessities - snacks, pen & paper/journal, phone, charger, earbuds, ID & passport, money, etc. There's lots of pockets and zippered pouches - lots of room to store all your needs while in the air for an international flight.

I'm also going to test out these water bottles that have a filter in them. I figured that once we get to NZ, we will be on the road a lot. Instead of buying water, we can just keep refilling ours. Camelbak Groove Bottle (.75-liter, 24 ounce).
See here.
Also, I've never used a travel pillow, so I'm testing one of those out too. This one was listed #1 in Travel Pillows. Travemate Memory Foam Neck Pillow. See here.

I'll let you all know how everything worked out after the trip. Also, as you see a trend here, I get everything off Amazon. Had to give them a shout out too.

  1. Can't wait to hear how these workout for you! I've never used a travel pillow either but it could help for a long flight.
